Children's Camps International ministers in Mexico through the ministry of C-Quest. They currently operate camps (under the name "CampQuest") in the state of Yucatan, Mexico, with a focus on the areas within an hour’s drive from the capital city, Merida.

Although CampQuest is a relatively new aspect of C-Quest’s ministry in the Yucatan, it is quickly gaining support from local churches throughout the region. News about the CampQuest program has spread as far as Cancun and Chetumal (4-6 hours away) on the east coast, and pastors there are requesting to be trained and equipped to run camps.

CCI’s provision of camps-in-a-box (trailers completely equipped with everything required to operate a 2-5 day camp) has been an incredible motivating force for churches. Combined with the training that churches receive, as a prerequisite for running the camps, word is spreading and camp participation is growing. Without access to these unique tools for ministry, it would be much more difficult to attract kids to camps.
The leaders of our program in Mexico are Gary & Joanne Edwards.

"We anticipate much growth in the camp program (CampQuest) over the coming months. We would appreciate having people pray that pastors would catch the CCI vision and follow the program that has been developed so that their churches will grow. We long to see kids come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We want the camps to serve as catalysts for church growth, not simply act as periodic entertainment for kids. Please pray that God will provide the national staff that is required to expand the program across the peninsula."
